New capabilities for cars with integrated Google
Polestar, Volvo Cars and General Motors are the first manufacturers to bet on Android Automotive, the by Google integrated as Google is now calling this version of its operating system for cars.
Google reports that with Integrated Google Play cars will be able to download navigation apps like Sygic and Flitsmeister, charging apps like ChargePoint and PlugShare, parking apps like SpotHero and ParkWhiz, and point of interest apps. By the end of the year there will be in-car video entertainment apps while parked. Volvo Cars will be the first to launch the application of YouTube for parked cars.

Smart home meet the smart car
