Google One Launches Free Enhanced Android Backup and Storage Manager

The paid subscription of Google One, which allows us to expand the cloud storage of Google Drive, Google Photos and Gmail, is two years old this August, and to celebrate, the company announces an important novelty.

No need to pay to enjoy some of the advantages of Google One, now with the free account that offers 15 GB of storage we can use the Android Enhanced Backup and his new storage manager.

Backup your Android

Now without having to pay, we can use the Google One backup to keep it safe in the cloud the data of our device, multimedia messages and photos. The advantage of Google One is that it backs up multimedia messages, while the native Android backup only does SMS.

New cloud storage manager

The other novelty is that now from the Google One application we can also manage the storage of Google Photos, Google Drive and Gmail, to delete those photos, videos, files and emails that we have in the trash or spam, or that are taking up a lot of space for containing large elements.

The free version of Google One will begin in the next few days. Starting today, you can download the application and wait for the update to launch.
