There are more and more proposals for true wireless headphones (TWS, totally wireless) that come to us from different manufacturers. Not surprisingly, only in the month of July, we have met the Redmi Airdots 2, the OnePlus Buds, the Amazfit ZenBuds and the Xiaomi Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic, to name a few examples.
Now, it’s Motorola’s turn, which just add a new member to your VerveBuds family, where we already found the 110 model. This time, it is the Motorola VerveBuds 800, totally wireless headphones that, among other features, have IPX4 protection and are compatible with the intelligent assistants of Apple, Amazon and Google.
Dust and splash resistant
Under a design that inevitably reminds us of Apple AirPods, the new VerveBuds 800 integrate technology Dual noise-canceling microphone to answer calls with clear sound and enhance the experience by interacting with compatible voice assistants: Alexa, Siri and Google Assistant.
In terms of its battery, these headphones promise a range of 6 hours in playback that expands until 6 p.m. thanks to the included wireless charging case. To facilitate your instant connection to the phone (via bluetooth 5.0), they light up as soon as we remove them from the case and pair automatically.
They can be used simultaneously (stereo) or separately (in mono audio mode) and allow personalize the sound thanks to the audio equalizer from the Hubble Connect for VerveLife app (iOS / Android), which also offers the ability to locate Motorola lifestyle devices in the event of loss or theft.
Finally, it is worth mentioning its protection against dust and the IPX4 certification for resistance to sweat and splashes. They are sold in two colors (black or white) at a official price of 99.90 euros and they come with an interchangeable pad set.
