The first with Helio G96

4G processors are still alive, and the MediaTek Helio G96 is one of the most recent, being the most powerful Helio G to date. The Realme 8i is the first mobile to mount the Helio G96, slightly faster than the standard model Helio G95. This processor is accompanied by 4 or 6 GB of RAM and 64 or 128 GB of storage.

The best mid-range mobiles of 2021

An important change of this Realme 8i with respect to the 4G version of the Realme 8 is on its screen. This time we have an LCD panel, but that increases the refresh rate to patient 120 Hz. The speed of the tactile response is increased a little more, reaching 180 Hz.

Pantall

This screen incorporates the front camera perforated in one corner, being a 16 megapixel resolution sensor with f / 2.5 aperture. Behind, the Realme 8i rides a triple camera with 50 megapixel main sensor and aperture f / 1.8. The other two sensors are 2 megapixels: a macro sensor and a monochrome sensor, for portraits.

The Realme 7i was betting on autonomy based on a gigantic battery, something that has been moderated a little more in this renewal. The battery capacity, however, remains generous, now with 5,000 mAh capacity and support for fast charging of 18W.

Camara

With Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 pre-installed and incorporating the fingerprint reader on one of its sides, the Realme 8i promises greater stability in games and even 5 GB of virtual RAM available.
