The international Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro appear on the Android console replacing Exynos by Qualcomm

The Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro and Vivo X60 Pro + are already official phones, although only in China. The Asian brand presented them when last December came to an end (and the Plus in January), and configured them in two ranges that are quite different from each other. On the one hand, the X60 and X60 Pro with the Exynos 1080, on the other hand the Pro + model that bet on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 888.

Data remained in the air during the presentation, the logical ones when we talk about models with international foresight that are presented locally. It remained to be known when they would reach other countries, how much they would cost to do so and if there would be changes. Now we know something of the latter, well Vivo seems to have chosen Qualcomm processors for its departure from the country.

Goodbye Samsung, hello Qualcomm

Vivo

The information is provided by the Google Play Console, an inexhaustible source of leaks since telephones usually appear registered with their corresponding files (although incomplete) at some point in their production process. This console is the one that shows us two Vivo X60 models, specifically the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro, carrying Qualcomm processors.

The international versions of the Vivo X60 and Vivo X60 Pro would therefore carry the Snapdragon 870 instead of the Exynos 1080. Vivo would change Samsung for Qualcomm by choosing what is for all intents and purposes a ‘Snapdragon 865 ++’, an improved version of the 2020 Snapdragon 865+ to accompany the Snapdragon 888 during this season.

In the data slid from the Google Play console there are no more changes in the revealed data, so the same RAM figure will be kept and we assume that also the same internal storage figure. Phones are likely to hit the international market with no other changes than that, beyond the slight differences in weight that may result from the change. We will continue waiting for its launch in the rest of the countries.
