A mysterious OPPO mobile has been registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office, or EUIPO. The name of the mobile does not appear in the certification, but images do appear from all angles, with a clearly designed design similar to other mobiles for gamers, like the ASUS Rog Phone 5 or the Nubia Red Magic 6.
Registration does not necessarily mean that the terminal ends up seeing the light, but doing so would be OPPO’s first gaming mobile. Although its specifications have not transcended, the images from all angles let us get a good idea of what would be several of its characteristics.
OPPO’s possible first gaming mobile
In 2018, when the first gamer mobiles began, there were only a few models and their future was uncertain. Three years later, more and more manufacturers want to try their luck in the niche of mobile focused on games. In addition to brands that focus on them like BlackShark, Razer, Nubia, Lenovo or ASUS, others are trying to get on the train like Xiaomi with the Redmi K40 Game Enhanced Edition.
Another that seems to be thinking about it is OPPO, which has a large number of series (Reno, Find and a few letters), but none focused on games. A terminal with gamer inspiration It has been registered in the European patent office and, although the model is not indicated, the request comes from OPPO MOBILE TELECOMMUNICATIONS. Of course, with so much movement of brands such as the merger with OnePlus, it could not be ruled out that it is a mobile from some other BBK Electronics brand.
The record shows the terminal from all angles, with a four-lens camera and a screen that at first looks like cover the entire front. There is no perforation or visible notch, so it remains in the air if there is a pop-up mechanism, if it will be under the screen or if the design simply does not include as much detail. The usual thing in gaming mobiles is that they mount the front camera on the upper frame.
We also see that it will have a minijack and the fingerprint reader does not seem to be in sight, so it may be under the screen. This, in turn, is usually an indication that it will have an AMOLED screen. The design itself features a large circle at the rear, possibly including the brand’s logo and perhaps an RGB light. At the moment there is nothing confirmed. We will have to wait.
