Although talking about tablets leads us almost inevitably to think about the iPad range, there are still manufacturers that try to conquer users with Android-based models and one of them is TCL, a brand that together with a 5G mobile has presented a new tablet with NXTPAPER technology.

The new model responds to the name of TCL NXTPAPER, an Android-based tablet with a diagonal of 8.88 inches that has a screen that benefits from the technology that the company introduced at the end of 2020.

At first glance, the main claim of the TCL NXTPAPER is its screen, which grows around a low-power LCD-type panel that uses natural light to eliminate backlighting. According to TCL, this allows you to get higher contrast and 65% more when it comes to energy efficiency. Of the other features, highlight the resolution, 1,440 x 1,080 pixels with a 16: 9 aspect ratio and having the TUV Rheinland safety certification to guarantee that the eyes are protected from harmful light.

Inside it hides a Mediatek MT8768e processor that is accompanied by 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage that can be expanded thanks to support for microSD cards up to 256GB.

The photographic section is made up of an 8MP rear camera that should be enough for casual photographs or for scanning documents and a front camera with a 5MP sensor for video calling.

When it comes to autonomy, TCL says it can achieve more than a full day of use on a single charge because mount a 5,500 mAh battery. With Android 10 as the operating system, this model offers Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity.
