A few days before Sunday February 14th arrives, the Catalan elections already have an official application with which to follow everything that the celebration of democracy holds. App with the data of the closing of tables, progress of participation and all the count in real time from the mobile screen.
Given that smartphones have become a great window to information, whenever we go to a key appointment with the polls we have an official app with which follow the vote count and how the relevant parliaments are being formed. And with the elections on Sunday in Catalonia there is no exception: the Generalitat has already uploaded the official application to the Google Play Store. It is worth having it installed if you want to know the counting in real time from your mobile.
Follow the real-time scrutiny of the Catalan Elections
The app in question is similar to the ones we have used previously for the different Spanish elections, both general and regional. With it, it is possible to follow the vote count that will start just when the polling stations close, all in real time and with information received directly from the electoral board’s data center. This updated information is the same one used by the rest of the media to publicize the scrutiny.
Apart from the vote count, with the new app of the Catalan elections it is possible to know how the last parliament was constituted after the 2017 elections. In addition, the application allows you to directly compare both elections, both while the scrutiny is being carried out and afterwards.
Data updated in real time, graphs, results by province and locality, opening of tables, results by candidacies and even the option of simulating the possible Catalan governments depending on the agreements they can reach after the results. This section, called ‘My Parliament’, is the perfect ‘pactometer’ taken to the mobile.
