The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 begin to update to Android 11 with One UI 3.1

After Samsung’s high-end, folding phones like the Fold included, received the dose of Android 11 in the form of update, it is the turn of the high-end tablet. Thus, Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 begin to receive the update to Android 11, first in Korea.

The update brings the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 +, the first model in the series to be updated, to the latest available version of Samsung’s cape: One UI 3.1. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 was launched in August of last year with Android 10 and Samsung One UI 2.1.

Samsung’s first tablet with Android 11

Samsung has already updated to the latest version of Android to its entire high-end, at least on mobile phones. Of the house tablets that have to be updated (Tab s7, s7 +, S6, S6 Lite, S5e, Active Pro, Active 3, A, A 10.1 and A8), none had yet received the OTA. The first to do so is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 +, in South Korea.

Firmware update with version T875NKOU1BUA8 is coming now, with a 2442 MB size to South Korean users of the Samsung Galaxy S7 + LTE. It includes, in addition to the latest version of Android, the latest version of Samsung’s layer, One UI 3.1.

It should be remembered that, according to the planning shared by Samsung in the Samsung Members application, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 they were scheduled to be updated in March, at least in Europe. That is, the European Galaxy Tab S7 may still take a couple of months to have their share of Android 11.

As always, the way to check if your Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 or S7 + has a pending update is the same. The system periodically searches for updates by default, although you can force it from the mobile settings, in the section Software update.
